About
Damien is the founder of Go Beyond and the primary operator of OBSIDIAN. He initiated the OBSIDIAN memory system on 2026-05-01 based on the Karpathy LLM Wiki pattern, with the goal of building a compounding organisational memory for Go Beyond across all chats, files, and lessons learned.
Working Style & Preferences
Redlines — non-negotiable behaviours
- Always flag missing tools or skills immediately. If Damien requests a named skill, tool, or capability that is not available in the current session, stop and say so before doing anything else. Do not silently approximate or substitute. Do not proceed with a workaround without explicit confirmation. This applies to skills, MCPs, connectors, and any named resource. Established 2026-05-20.

General preferences
- Prefers direct, honest answers over diplomatic hedging — including about Claude’s own mistakes.
- Expects Claude to investigate before giving up: vault first, then other sessions, then the web.
- Wants work filed back into OBSIDIAN (vault) so nothing is lost to chat history.
- Prefers a single clean deliverable over multiple drafts — ask questions upfront, then execute.
- Expects Claude to maintain awareness of cross-session context (other Cowork chats, prior decisions) and flag relevant connections proactively.
